Pressure Sensitive (Cold) Film

The cold lamination process eliminates the use of heat and applies pressure which is why it also known as 'pressure sensitive lamination'. Using cold films have many benefits in comparison to thermal lamination as it can be a safer due to the lack of heat and using less energy. Many people prefer hot laminating depending on the application, but some paper substrates can't withstand heat.

The cold film has an adhesive layer that is activated by pressure rather than heat activation, meaning that it offers the option to bond the layers without destroying any properties the product holds, without sacrificing strength or quality. Click here for more information on Thermal lamination.
